Dr. Kok L. Chong is the founder and Medical Director of Minimally Invasive Vascular. He is a board-certified Interventional Radiologist with over 16 years of clinical experience and has been providing full-time outpatient interventional care since 2011.
Dr. Chong holds a Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in Interventional Radiology from the American Board of Radiology and is double-boarded in both Diagnostic Radiology and Interventional Radiology.
Dr. Chong founded Minimally Invasive Vascular with one goal in mind: to bring the same advanced, image-guided procedures performed in hospitals directly to patients in a comfortable, convenient outpatient setting. He is dedicated to giving patients access to effective, non-surgical options for conditions that have traditionally required hospitalization.

Dr. Chong completed a surgery internship at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), a radiology residency at the University of Southern California (USC), and a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Indiana University Medical Center.

Professional Experience
Following his fellowship, Dr. Chong worked as a hospital-based interventional radiologist in California and Florida, treating patients with vascular, oncological, and trauma-related conditions.
In 2011, he transitioned to full-time outpatient practice because he believed patients deserved access to the same quality of interventional care outside the walls of a hospital.
Dr. Chong served as Medical Director for American Access Care in Jacksonville, where he oversaw outpatient interventional procedures and developed deep expertise in catheter-based vascular treatments. That experience led directly to the founding of Minimally Invasive Vascular.
